1981

Company founded in Metz by Michel Bigot. Flash Europe is a local provider for urgent transport solutions.

1992

Philippe Mantz takes over Flash Europe and becomes CEO. The company specializes in transport solutions for companies particularly in the automotive sector and operates on an international level. (References)

Initial multimodal transports between France and Morocco. Combined transports are established as a further core competence of Flash Europe.

2002

Flash Europe offers temperature-controlled transports (Biologistics)

2004

Opening of a branch office in Tunisia

2007

Additional branch offices established in Slovakia, Romania and Spain

2008

Take over of the German courier company “Flashline” and the largest competitor in France “Taxicolis”

Own Air-Charter-Department was established

2009

Opening of further offices in Hungary and Portugal

2010

Capital investors, LBO France and Siparex have acquired a minority stake in the Flash Group.
Opening of own air freight office in close vicinity to Frankfurt Airport

2011

Opening of further offices in Russia and Turkey
